The standout specialty here is without a doubt the fried shrimp. It’s generously sized and genuinely delicious, the kind of dish that alone makes the visit worthwhile.
The other seafood dishes are also excellent, though it does feel like prices may have gone up a bit compared to the past. Even so, it’s still well worth going.
The restaurant is a little distance from the station, so if you have some time before your welcome party or next appointment, I’d recommend leaving your luggage in a station locker and making the trip.
Personally, I think this place ranks quite high among Japanese izakaya, both in quality and overall satisfaction.
